Rethinking Beige Moccasins

While the word moccasin could send you thinking about a time period way back when, the modern moccasin is trendy and easy to wear. They are a stylish alternative to ballet flats and loafers and make a great new addition to any wardrobe, while giving you personality and a statement when entering a room.

Not Just For the Hippies

Moccasins are not all fringe and bead work; the modern moccasin has taken over as the new loafer. Both are similar in style, with the moccasin having a more pronounced external seam around the top of the toes. In order to avoid looking bottom heavy, these moccasins work best with either slim fitting pants that hit at or above the ankle (think cropped, cuffed, or boyfriend) or with skirts and dresses that fall above the knee.

Color Chameleon

Beige has become a popular neutral, as the color is supposed to be the hue of natural wool. It ranges between pale tan to yellow and pale grey. It takes on the warm or cool qualities of the colors around it which makes it an extremely flexible neutral to work with.
