Using organically produced textiles and recycled military fabrics the label has created a range of high-quality utilitarian clothing. From his origins in the military and industrial surplus industry, maharishi's founder, Hardy Blechman, combines his fair trade ethics with the latest technology. International recognition came in 2000 when maharishi was awarded 'Streetwear Designer of the Year' at the British Fashion Council Awards. A range of their designs can be seen at Stylight.
