As 2024 comes to an end, we’re reminiscing on the best fashion moments that this year gave us: from red carpets to street style looks, it’s safe to say that this was one to remember.

The theme for next year’s Met Gala—arguably one of the most exciting nights for the fashion industry—has also been announced: Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, draws inspiration from Monica Miller’s 2009 book Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity. Many of the most fashionable men of 2024—like A$AP Rocky, Colman Domingo, and Lewis Hamilton—have been chosen as co-chairs along with Anna Wintour, Pharrell Williams, and honorary chair Lebron James.

To recap the year past and prepare for the one ahead, we’ve compiled a list of the most stylish celebs to watch, including the co-chairs above and other menswear trailblazers.

The Harlem rapper is nothing short of a Fashion Killa and, without a doubt, one of the most stylish musicians around—if not the most. When it comes to his style, Rocky isn’t afraid to take risks and often embodies up-and-coming trends that inevitably blow up soon after.

Mixing high and low fashion, rocking bold prints and patterns, elevating each look with the right sneakers or designer boots, and experimenting with untraditional accessories like handbags and pearl necklaces are all staples of A$AP Rocky’s style.

His favourite brand of 2024? Bottega Veneta. Not only has the rapper starred in multiple campaigns for the brand—including the Father’s Day campaign alongside his two sons—but has also been spotted carrying the brand’s Andiamo bag—along with other pieces—on multiple occasions.

This July, Rocky and his creative agency AWGE stormed Paris Fashion Week by unveiling their debut menswear collection, American Sabotage, which was paired with Puma kicks and Ray-Ban lenses. The line explores Rocky’s idea of “ghetto expressionism” and was created in collaboration with Bede Marchand, Joshua Jamal, and Coucou Bebehe.

Actor Colman Domingo has been in the business for over thirty years, but it’s during the last five that he truly cemented himself as a fashion icon and a stable presence in every award season’s “Best Dressed” list.

Domingo’s red carpet style is all about perfectly tailored suits, to which he adds his own twist: bold colours and unexpected accessories. Behind this sartorial experimentation are his stylists Wayman and Micah, who bring the actor’s visions to life. “True to Colman’s Sagittarius nature, he really loves to play and have fun in every facet of his being, so his style and sense of fashion fully thrive. From the Formula One track to the red carpet, seven-time World Drivers’ Championship winner Lewis Hamilton is always ahead. Over the years, Hamilton has navigated Met Galas and British Fashion Awards with class and confidence, cementing himself as a style icon.

The racer and his stylist, Eric McNeal, have mastered the art of adding an unexpected twist to every suit: from chunky boots to bold prints.

Among Hamilton’s favourite brands are Valentino, Dior, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Kenzo, and many young designers of colour, such as Kenneth Nicholson, Edvin Thompson, and Jason Rembert. Sleek racing jackets, an ode to his talent on the track, are another one of Hamilton’s wardrobe staples.

Fresh off the Wicked press tour, 72-year-old Jeff Goldblum keeps showing that, in terms of style, he’s still got it.

A regular at runway shows and a bonafide fashion icon, the actor’s style is a perfect blend of minimalist, 50s preppy, and eclectic. As GQ Features Director Jonathan Heaf so eloquently put it, in the July 2018 issue of GQ, “Jeff Goldblum’s style is a gift to all men—a visual reminder that we must all try much harder.”

Goldblum has been working with his stylist, Andrew T. Vottero, for almost a decade now, and the results are nothing short of great. From retro jackets to whacky printed Prada shirts and ultra-slim Saint Laurent suiting, Goldblum and Vottero can do it all.

Unlike many of the men on this list, Elordi’s style is very simple—but not less effective. Both his daytime and red carpet looks consist of classic, minimalist pieces which are available at different price points, making his style surprisingly easy to emulate. All you need is good baggy jeans—preferably in a vintage wash—, high-top shoes like lace-up boots and sneakers, collared shirts and polos, well-tailored suiting, and chunky knits.

Elordi often pairs these basics with a statement purse from Bottega Veneta.

Not only is Puerto Rican native Bad Bunny one of the most streamed artists globally—and the most streamed on Spotify for three years in a row between 2020 and 2022—but he’s also a bonafide style icon who is not afraid to blend influences and go beyond gender stereotypes.

On stage and the red carpet, as well as when he’s off-duty, Bad Bunny isn’t afraid to make bold choices and take risks: he often pairs traditionally masculine and feminine pieces and contrasts high and low fashion. In 2019 he told Billboard, “My style influences what my music is and everything that surrounds me within it. The way you dress is, to say the least, a type of art. Everyone must dress, and use their creativity, express themselves in that way, their feelings, their way of thinking. Everyone must be free in that area and let the mind flow.”
