Men’s fashion: The unexpected accessory of the season
Gone are the days where men rocked baseball caps and fanny packs and claimed them as “fashion accessories”. Today’s accessories are much bigger, edgier and they demand attention.
The men’s fashion harness made a return to the red carpet, thanks to Louis Vuitton’s menswear creative director Virgil Abloh. All sorts of celebrities have been jumping on this trend. Chadwick Boseman, for example, rocked a white harness over a suit at the ESPY Awards.

Travis Scott didn’t pass this trend up and decided to put his own twist to it. He paired a harness with camo-printed pants, jacket and a balaclava. We must say, the harness looked quite interesting paired with his military-inspired outfit.
There’s not really a right or wrong way to wear this statement piece. Most celebrities we’ve seen hop on this trend have done so with a more dressy look. We’re talking dress shirt, dress pants and sometimes even a tuxedo or a suit. But, street style proves that this trend can go with just about anything, including a good old plain t-shirt!
