Are you getting enough exercise?
Are you getting enough exercise? Odds are, you aren’t, according to report from the American CDC. Less than a quarter of adults in the United States meet the recommended amount of weekly aerobic and muscle-building activity the study shows and across the globe, they’re not alone.
Americans aren’t alone in their notoriously sedentary lifestyles; nearly two-thirds of U.K. adults are overweight or obese, and Canadian adults are only slightly healthier, with just over 60% of the adult population being considered overweight or obese.
To improve your health, the Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans recommend adults should do at least 150-300 minutes (2.5-5 hours) of moderate-intensity exercise a week; brisk walking, elliptical training, or water aerobics, for example.

The U.S. government breaks down the 150 minutes of weekly exercise into 75 minutes of vigorous or high-intensity activity and two days a week of muscle-strengthening activities. The Mayo Clinic recommends that adults should strive for 30 minutes of moderate physical activity every day.
