Emma Chamberlain has the perfect green kitchen

If you’re a fan of Architectural Digest‘s celebrity home tours, you may have come to recognize a common thread woven between the homes of the rich and famous: green kitchens.

Most recently spotted in the Los Angeles home tour of 21-year-old influencer Emma Chamberlain, green kitchens have caught the eyes of the internet’s favourite it-girls.

In her home tour, Chamberlain, a YouTube sensation since the ripe age of 16, says she “saw a photo once of a green kitchen years ago; fell in love, was obsessed.”

She tells the camera that when it came to designing her own space,  she “wanted to do something green, but [she] wasn’t sure what.”

“That was kind of in my head when doing this kitchen,” she says.

Described as “earthy-with-a-twist,” Chamberlain’s sage green kitchen falls in the design footsteps of another Architectural Digest alum — Dakota Johnson.

Unlike Chamberlain’s airy sage green space, Johnson’s kitchen lends a more industrial feel, thanks to its cabinetry and compact size.

The interior design magazine shared yet another earthy-green space, dubbing it “the world’s most perfect green kitchen.”
