Finding new ways to spruce up your home can be costly and exhausting. There are always so many new trends on the market and it just seems impossible to keep up with all the hype. But, we’ve got a trend that will give you the reigns to do as much or as little as you want with it around your home. It’s not a popular piece of furniture or a new shade to paint your house with.
Not too long ago, mustard yellow was all the hype when it comes to home trends. Now, the lighter, more subtle pastel yellow has taken over. This shade of yellow is so perfect as it doesn’t force you to change up your home to make it work. In fact, it goes with just about everything that already exists in your home. We’re not saying you should change up your entire home and dip it in pastel yellow, but there are a few different things you can do to incorporate this lovely shade.
If your current living room is pretty neutral, pastel yellow can be added in several different ways. You can start with something more dramatic like wallpaper. Wallpaper has made its way back into our homes, but this time as an accent bit of decor. In the past, you would wallpaper the entire room or maybe the whole house, but now, accent walls are where it’s at.
You can also go for accent furniture. Add a pastel yellow armchair to your living room, pastel yellow kitchen chairs or perhaps a footstool in your bedroom. If you love being outdoors, a little pastel yellow on your backyard set’s cushions will also do the job.
