How to wear the “coconut girl” trend this summer

If you haven’t already come across the Gen-Z-fuelled trend on TikTok, let us be the first to introduce you to this summer’s coolest aesthetic: “coconut girl.” Inspired by surf culture, Hawaiian prints, puka shells, and, we’re being serious, the 2006 mermaid movie Aquamarine, the coconut-girl aesthetic is the trend to follow on TikTok.

Evoking a carefree, optimistic vibe, the coconut-girl aesthetic is for everyone who dreams of a post-COVID life filled with beach vacations and Mai Tai’s. With summer in full swing, the coconut-girl aesthetic has made its way to Stylight’s shopping trends.
