Visors: Now Cool, Not Just For Retirees
Much like Trump winning the election, we’d have never thought in a million years that visors would become cool. But here we are. Stranger things have happened (refer to previous statement). The visor is now the coveted unbranded cap of 2016.
It seems as though the ‘It’ kids are over covering the tops of their heads, instead, favouring a light breeze across their noggins. We first saw them at Governor’s Ball in NYC, then at BBC Radio1’s Big Weekend, and now? Well, we’re now pretty darn certain we’ll be seeing them again at Glastonbury (/every succeeding festival).
If Gucci and Chanel’s Grecian wreath headpiece doesn’t do it for ya, reach for your trusty tennis visor à la the retiree babes of Boca Raton. Those clever septuagenarians know that it’s not just a fashion statement; the visor is a brilliant way to be sun safe and look cool while you’re staying cool. Wear a straw version with your neon pink top or new summer dress. However you choose to wear it, the visor’s going to be your go-to summer accessory.
