Street style from the world’s most expensive cities

What do women from the world’s most expensive cities wear? Paris, Singapore, and Hong Kong were jointly named the world’s most expensive cities in 2019 by The Economist Intelligence Unit, joining American cities New York and Los Angeles in the top 10.

So, aside from tiny, expensive apartments, and tear-worthy transportation costs, what are women from Paris, Singapore, and Hong Kong spending their dollars on? Fashion!

We took to Instagram to find some of the hottest Parisian, Singaporean, and Hong Kong-based fashion influencers to find out what women in the world’s bougiest cities are wearing. Scroll on to find out.

French girl style is one of those topics that we, along with seemingly everybody else, can’t get enough of. French-style icons Carine Roitfeld, Jane Birkin, and Catherine Deneuve are regulars in our sartorial lexicon and our Pinterest boards are persistently ripe with photos of French women with slightly tousled hair, a stained red lip, and a timeless, uniform-like wardrobe.
