Meghan Markle is teaming up with her royal matchmaker to launch capsule collection

Meghan Markle is teaming up with Misha Nonoo, the woman who supposedly played matchmaker between Meghan and Prince Harry, to create a workwear capsule collection for Smart Works, one of her royal patronages.

Revealed in the Duchess’ guest-edited September issue of British Vogue, the collaboration will benefit Smark Works, a U.K. charity that provides clothing and tools to unemployed women. U.K. retailers Marks & Spencer, John Lewis & Partners, and UK brand Jigsaw will also lend their support to the collection.

The new mom teased the collection in her upcoming Vogue issue. “For each item purchased by one customer, one is donated to charity”, the Duchess wrote. “Not only does this allow us to be part of each other’s story, it reminds us we are in it together.”

Aside from being a designer of her own namesake brand, Misha Nonoo is a close friend of Meghan’s and is supposedly the one to thank for bringing together the world’s most famous couple.

“I love [Meghan] to death. She is the coolest girl in the world,” the designer told the Evening Standard of their friendship.

Meghan can be seen all over Nonoo’s Instagram. The designer posted a sweet snap of the duo on a Spanish vacation in 2016.

The New York-based designer can also be thanked for one of Meghan’s most famous looks to date. Nonoo designed the white menswear shirt Meghan wore when she made her first public appearance with Prince Harry at the Invictus Games in Toronto in 2017.

Nonoo attended both Meghan’s ultra-private baby shower in New York and her wedding to Prince Harry. As for the duo’s capsule collection, it’s set to launch later this year.
