This winter’s trendiest trousers: Knit pants

As knitwear shapes up to be one of the most influential fashion trends of the year, it should come as no surprise that for autumn/winter 2021/22, It-girls have taken their love of sweaters to new heights; namely, they’ve turned them into pants.

Whether a result of cozy pandemic style or the love of a novelty item, knitted, sweater-like bottoms have become a chic cold-weather staple beloved by fashion girls and celebrities.

Taking a cue from our favourite fashion girls,  the secret to styling the cold-weather trend is to treat them as soft tailored trousers or casual jeans and style them as such.
