The do-it-all product that changed this beauty bloggers skin
If you’ve seen her rose-tinted Instagram, then you know that Christina Kassi, the blogger behind Beauté Défilé, is something of a skincare product guru. Brimming with luxurious hair oils and serums, her feed has more gels, creams, and sprays than some stand-alone boutiques.
So with an influx of “must have” products on her radar, what’s the one brand that, in Christina’s words, drastically changed her skin? Find out more below.
“My do-it-all product for my oily, dehydrated, and acne-prone skin is Biologique Recherché Lotion P50.
I have three of the different versions and I use them interchangeably depending on my skin’s needs. I spot treat with the 1970 version because it diminishes cystic spots like nothing else, and I make sure to hydrate with rich serums like Extraits Tissulaires or Dr. Barbara Sturm hyaluronic acid.”
“[In addition to Biologique Recherche], I also love Bioderma, anything from the Sensibio line.
I especially love the foaming cleanser and the light moisturizer. I also like Skinceuticals and Dr. Barbara Sturm.”
“[When I shop for skincare] I look at the ingredients, the formulas, and the mission of the brand. I’m drawn to brands that invest a lot in research, unique ingredients, and overall branding and message.
I don’t use anything with fragrance, whether natural or synthetic, or any oils or oil cocktails. My skin is oily and I generally disagree with the whole “use oil to produce less oil” myth. Oily skin needs water, dry skin needs oil.”
“There are a lot of beauty bloggers on Instagram who don’t even show their real skin to the world. It’s been really important to me to share my real, unfiltered skin and experiences with others.
Young women see so much edited, photoshopped, and perfected content that their idea of what real skin looks like is extremely skewed. They’re always trying to attain the unattainable. So this has been one of the main themes that I share.”
