Horse shampoo…for humans?
We aren't horsing around
Horse shampoo: giving a whole new meaning to the word ponytail.
A true farm-to-hair story, Mane ‘n Tail products were actually born on a family horse farm in rural New Jersey. The original shampoo and conditioner were designed for show horses with long, flowing manes and tails. The horse trainers soon started sampling the beauty products for themselves and, you know what they say, first comes the equestrian crowd, then the world!
Jennifer Aniston, Kim Kardashian and Demi Moore are reportedly big fans of the brand. Moore’s hair stylist, Tara Smith, swears the shampoo keeps hair smooth and glossy. She told BellaBox:
“For extra-deep conditioning, we sometimes us Mane ‘n Tail. It’s the old standby horse shampoo, and it gives [Demi Moore’s] hair amazing shine!”

The shampoo and conditioner both have a mild scent and are fortified with moisturizers and emollients to leave hair soft and clean. The micro-enriched protein formulas help prevent hair breakage and repair split ends. There’s even a rumor that Mane ‘n Tail products encourage hair growth!
And you know, if Jennifer Aniston swears by it, I’m ready to saddle up!
