Knitted Coats are hugely popular this year, and Stylight has so many to choose from. There's something so cozy and comfortable about wearing a warm knitted coat. One interesting thing about knit coats is that they can dress up or dress down a given look. Knitted apparel can be can be tightly or loosely knit in a variety of thicknesses. Many types of cable knits are hot right now.

Cozy Up to Knitted Coat and Belt Duos

The cooler the weather, the bulkier the layers. We routinely followed that mantra with our outerwear until we discovered a tactic that flattered and warmed us—strapping our belts over knitted coats.

The ability to survive brisk temperatures shouldn’t entail engulfment in heavy fabric. Bind yourself to a combination that will refresh your knitted get-ups.

Teddy + Leather

For the minimalist, button up in a neutral teddy coat and fasten on a classic leather belt. The straight cut of the sleek teddy is the perfect base for a belt to nip you in at the waist. The contrast of soft knit and glossy leather adds dimension to a look that could’ve easily overwhelmed you.

Jacquard + Obi

Tie on an obi belt to alter the structure of a knitted jacquard coat and mold it to your figure. Offset the coat’s intricately woven patterns with a wide leather obi belt in a neutral hue. Add interest to your outerwear by sporting your obi with a clean knot to one side for an asymmetrical look. Looking to keep things simple and streamlined? Tie your obi to the back and leave an impression anytime you exit the room.

Maxi + Studded

Stop dealing with droopy knits and look to a studded belt as the remedy for the style travesty. A full-length knitted jacket is begging for rugged hardware and your studded belt is the answer to its prayers. Edge up cozy knits with thin belts that pack a punch in the form of spikes and studded designs to transform a bland lengthy garment into a canvas of mixed textures.
