Three reasons to recommend men’s dungarees.

More than a few women find themselves weak at the knees at the sight of a manual labourer. We can understand that all too well since most of them wear dungarees – what else could we be talking about – as work clothes. But the stylish one-piece has long since outgrown its status as purely a work uniform. After their heyday in the 90s, dungarees have succeeded in reappearing on the streets of fashion’s biggest cities. And that’s a good thing! Three reasons to recommend men’s dungarees.

1. They’re suitable for all shapes and sizes

Dungaree-wearing stars like Bob the Builder, Super Mario or Peter Lustig are proof: men don’t need a model’s dimensions to cut a good figure in dungarees. A little stomach paunch or a bit of fat around the hips disappears instantly behind the stomach pocket. Our tip: shorter men can trick the eye into seeing a little extra leg length by choosing loosely fitting dungarees in a baggy shape.

2. One piece, endless styles

When we think of men’s dungarees, we associate them with casual street styles: print shirts, trainers and baseball caps. And there’s nothing wrong with that – but dungarees can do so much more. Wear with a cool denim shirt for a resurgence of casual vintage style – this looks extremely cool with unbuttoned dungarees, a jumper and a black leather jacket. This style would be even more chic if the leather jacket and jumper were replaced with a varsity jacket and a matching woollen coat. One Piece, various possibilities!

3. They’re definitely suitable for an upgrade.

Slip on, button up – go! Dungarees are one of the most comfortable fashion pieces in existence. But those that think that dungarees are only suitable for relaxed, leisurely styles are mistaken. When combined correctly and worn in dark colours, you can even wear your dungarees to the office or to dinner. Need an example? Wear dark blue fabric dungarees together with a white shirt, tie and black leather lace-up shoes and you could make a real style statement. Don’t forget: Roll up the trouser legs and wear your shoes without socks.

Men’s dungarees are not only super comfortable, but they open up an unbelievable number of styling possibilities. When combined correctly, they suit all men – and they’re not just appropriate as leisure wear, but can even be worn with more elegant business and evening looks.

Stylish and super variable! In men’s dungarees, you’re always well-dressed.
