Coarsely Knit Sweaters, Worn Three Ways

“Coarse” isn’t exactly a lovely word. It makes us think of irritating sand, vulgar language or hair that hasn’t been conditioned in far too long. But when it comes to a knit, the word isn’t all bad.

And there’s no better way to achieve that goal than by pairing a brightly-colored, multi-tonal knit with a patterned shirt collar peeking over the top and funky culottes on bottom. With chunky glasses frames perched on your nose and a book under your arm, you’ve got the look in the bag.

No matter where you wear these sweaters, they’re sure to wow.

The outfit-picking course is clear: pick a coarsely knit sweater.
