Bohemian bags: This is how to style your bohemian look!

Stars like Sienna Miller, Kate Moss or the Olsen twins have picked up the bohemian trend and made it an established, unique fashion style. The mix of bohemian and hippie, coupled with glamor and chic understatement, creates a look that is perfect for cities, luxury festivals or on vacation. If you’re feeling a bit bolder, you can wear a full bohemian outfit, but the more timid among us can add a nice touch with accessories. Bohemian bags are perfect for this – during the daytime, or as a little purse for an evening out.

Empire waist dresses

Sleeveless, with a narrow torso and lightly flared skirt, empire waist dresses outline a feminine figure as a cross between a babydoll dress, cocktail dress and summer tunic. The upper part of the dress is adorned with glittering stones or sequins in a flower shape or with graphic ornamental designs. Bright colors and white accompany romantic hippie colors such as lime green, lilac and lemon yellow. The dress comes to about knee length and is made from cotton, linen or silk.

The right bohemian bag is a small shoulder bag made from high-quality real leather, in a single color, but decorated with fringes or colorful beads.

Ripped jeans

Whether you wear long or short pants, jeans are a fantastic combination with a bohemian bag. Lightly washed, with tears at the knees and thighs (no DIY here, we don’t want you chopping at yourself with scissors!) and frayed pant legs, particularly on shorts, they add a welcome understated touch.

The right bohemian bag is made from light or dark-colored suede and plays around with color using patterned strips of fabric. An extra-large shoulder bag is just as good as a tote bag.

Fine gold and silver jewelry

Delicate chains and collar necklaces made from silver or gold can be adorned with small pendants like flowers, blossoms, hearts, peace symbols, smiley faces or other hippie symbols. Decorate your wrist with silver bracelets and friendship bracelets. Or if you prefer rings, opt for a solitaire ring. Made from silver with an engraved design, it will provide elegant decoration for your middle or ring finger.

High-heeled sandals

Sandals or high-heeled sandals look great with a bohemian bag. In a matching color, with narrow straps and a wider heel, they lend a touch of glamor and joy to the overall look. In order to keep the bag in the spotlight, stick with single-color shoes. Appliqués or fussy details distract from the overall effect.

Bohemian bags are naturally uncomplicated. So that’s the way they should be worn. No-go: Definitely don’t hang the bag over your wrist in full-on snob style. Instead: Wear it casually over your shoulder.
