There’s basically a million, no, trillion, articles on cute tattoos and micro tattoo ideas. K, this may be a tad hyperbolic but there’s a lot. The problem with these cute tattoos galleries is that they’re snaps of the same well trod-out styles. And, as much as we love Bang Bang and Dr Woo, there’s more to tattoos than these two skilled artists. Amiright or amiright?
So, how to avoid getting clichéd ink?
Step 1: Ban basic designs. Butterflies, love hearts, arrows, inspirational quotes, feathers and dandelions turned into birds: sorry, but it's a no.
Step 2: Go for symbols or simple designs that mean something to you. Sounds pretty obvious, but go for the random motif, go for the geeky logo. This is what makes cute tattoos stand out.
