On 13th January, one day before the official start of the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Berlin, the first ever Stylight Fashion Blogger Awards took place. Top international bloggers and newcomers were honoured in four categories. A great success, and not only for the lucky winners!
And the winners are…
From the North to the South, these four young ladies took home the coveted awards for:
Most Creative Fashion Blog : Louise EBEL (France)
Most Influential Fashion Blog : Kenza ZOUITEN (Sweden)
Most Promising Fashion Blog : Negin MIRSALEHI (The Netherlands)
Best Style Fashion Blog : Aida DOMENECH (Spain)
Louise Ebel from Miss Pandora
Louise Ebel of Miss Pandora won the award for “Most Creative Fashion Blog”. The pretty parisienne won the judges over with her personal style: feminine, cheeky, and vintage-inspired like her favourite high waisted jeans. Louise just has that “certain something” or, as they say in France, that “je ne sais quoi”.
Kenza Zouiten from Kenzas
Swedish Kenza Zouiten can boasts one of the most successful fashion blogs in Europe, with nearly half a million visitors per week. With her Moroccan roots, this model loves high heels and girly looks like the jumpsuits from the Danish brand Vila; typical Scandinavian, but with her own twist. The title “Most Influential Fashion Blog” is more than deserved.
Negin Mirasalehi from Negin
Negin Mirsalehi – the Dutch with Iranian roots is the newcomer among the more established crowd, and won her very first award in the “Most Promising Fashion Blog” category at the STYLIGHT Fashion Blogger Awards. Despite having established her blog only a year ago, Negin’s already developed a large readership – this is just the beginning!
Aida Domenech from Dulceida
Aspiring actress Aida Domenech loves fashion, but she doesn’t take her style too seriously. The winner of “Best Style Blog Award” lives in Barcelona and is known for her cool street style looks. Her favourite outfit consists of a big Mayser hat with ankle boots and Replay skinny jeans. Aida mixes sixties glam with modern trends – obviously with the perfect cat-eye flick!
Highlights of the evening!
The evening’s presenter was blogger superstar Chiara Ferragni. Her blog “The Blonde Salad” is read by millions and many new bloggers see her as their blogging role model. Together with esteemed actor and TV presenter Raul Richter, the friendly Italian led the audience through the evening’s entertainment. In addition to the award ceremony itself, highlights of the night included cult denim brand Mavi’s runway show.
Mavi presented a denim collection, proving that jeans can be glamorous. Soundtracked by the Black Keys and Arcade Fire, this catwalk became a rock concert. This was followed by blogger and singer Andrea Wijk’s electric performance, including the debut of his new song: the STYLIGHT Fashion Blogger Awards promoted every blogger’s hidden talent.
